FILL A SEAT / FILL A LIBRARY
“I promised that for every twenty people who attended any given event during the Landfall kick-off tour in August & September 2015, I’d donate a book to a library in a region impacted by Hurricane Katrina. And then y’all went and packed those rooms so tightly I couldn’t’ve cussed at a cat without getting fur in my mouth! Thanks to you, thirty-two books have been added to collections at New Orleans Public Library, Houston Public Library, Harrison County Public Library system (serving the Mississippi Gulf Coast region), and Charleston County Public Library system (which was flooded by Hurricane Joaquin in October 2015 as I was boxing up these donations). Many thanks to all of you who made this possible. Your kindness and your support make my heart swell.”
– Ellen Urbani
